I've only just realised that I've actually moved into the same weight bracket as you. I'm a couple of pounds behind, but we're both in the mid 190s.
I don't mean this in terms of a competitive statement, rather that part of me still thinks about myself being up in the 270s where I began, and so being in a totally different category.
Although if you are a comptetitive fellow, then knowing that I'm catching you up might be the spur you need :)
Kim, 80 pounds is really quite an accomplishment. It just goes to show that a lifestyle change is really the best method for obtaining and maintaining a healthy weight. Your approach has been an inspiration to us all.
PS, I'm glad you made it I was getting all lonely holding down the 190s all by myself. I still plan on having Don disqualified for cheating. There has to be something in the rule book against the use of such nefarious tactics as exercising regularly.
Now that you are here we can take turns being the proverbial carrot on the stick.
We could race for a beer, or two, or three. We'd better not go any higher than that or Don will want to reenter.
Yes, I must admit that I thought that introducing exercise was a bit underhanded. I'm commenting about my fears of that activity on my own blog this week.
